 1. Host and Sponsors

·         Host: FSFA International - Florida State Florists' Association (FSFA) (“Host”).

·         Sponsor: Ian Prosser AIFD CFD PFCI – Botanica – International Design and Décor Studio and Florida State Florists’ Association.  

2. Entry Period: The Bridal Bouquet Competition (“Competition”) begins at 8am and ends at 11:00am EST on June 8, 2024 (“Entry Period”). All entries must be submitted to the Official Convention Registration Desk between 8:00am and 11:00am on June 28, 2024. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE CLOSING TIME OF THIS COMPETITION. 

3. Eligibility: Contestants must be, as of the date of entry, any person who is a floral designer, floral enthusiast or in a floral related industry and must be a member in good standing of FSFA. This is a one person competition and NOT a team competition.  Entry constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these official rules (“Official Rules”) and to Host’s decisions; the decisions of Host in regards to all matters related to this Competition are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

4. How to Enter and Content Requirements:     

·            A registration fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to Florida State Florists’ Association through its’ website is necessary to enter or win. This contest is subject to all applicable Federal, State and Local Laws. Up to 2 additional entries by the same contestant are permissible with an additional $25.00 entry fee per bouquet at the registration site:

·         The Theme of the Bridal Bouquet Competition is “Over the Top”

·         Contestants may use any medium to create their designs. The design must include fresh floral product, foliage, dried floral product, permanent botanicals or any combination thereof. At least 50% of the design must be fresh, foliage, dried or permanent. Contestants are not limited to the design style. The designs may be hand tied, designed in an armature, a bouquet holder ...the sky is the limit.

5. Indemnify

·         By entering the Competition, you agree to defend and indemnify the Host and Sponsor, upon demand, against any and all claims (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of any Release associated with any entry you submit.

·         Entries must be received during the Entry Period. Limit one (1) entry per paid registration.  Limit 3 entries per person. 

6. Selection and Notification of Winner:

·         At the close of the competition, all entries will be reviewed by the Sponsor – Ian Prosser AIFD CFD PFCI and staff of Botanica – International Design and Décor Studio.  All submissions will be anonymous to the Sponsor until after the selection process is complete. The selection process will be completed on Saturday, June 8, 2024. 

·         Winner will be announced on Saturday, June 8, 2024 during the President's Gala and Awards Ceremony.   

6. Prizes:

The Winner will receive a cash prize in the amount of $500.00 (US) and a Plaque
