The Florida State Florist Association is dedicated to the education and enrichment of the many members within the association through the many scholarships awarded yearly. These scholarships are available to any member or employee of a member of the Florida State Florist Association who meet the requirements/guidelines listed on the scholarship application. The scholarships are awarded once a year at the Florida State Florist Association state convention. Interviews for the scholarships are held on the Saturday morning at the state convention. Applicants will be notified either by person or on their room phone, when where and when. Schools that have generously participated with the Florida State Florist Association are: Phil Rulloda School of Floral Design, and South Florida Center for Floral Studies,
FSFA would like to thank each one of these schools with their continued support in educating!!
There are requirements of recipients that are stated on this application and are very important and should be taken very seriously. A recipient of a scholarship must agree and promise to work for a Florida State Florist Association member for the period of one (1) year and to volunteer their time to Florida State Florist Association during one of the next FSFA Conventions. If you should have any questions or concerns concerning scholarships offered by FSFA, please contact Doris Goodman 1-352-595-7485. Money that is raised for the scholarship is through the effort and hard work of dedicated people who put education above themself. Remember to bring items to convention for the silent auction, bid on items at the silent auction and buy lots and lots of raffle tickets for the tool box. Scholarship winners are asked to also help with the tool box and silent auction to help promote and fund the scholarships from year to year. Your help is always appreciated.
