Mid-Season is a smaller, more personal conference held in various locations throughout the season in January of every year. Design shows and opportunities to get to know your colleagues in the floral industry abound, and the venues are always exciting, fresh, and interesting.

Mid Season Convention 2009 will be at the Embassy Suites Destin/Miramar Beach scheduled for January 23-25. The address is 570 Scenic Gulf Drive. Destin FL. 32550. A special room rate of $119.00 for a spacious two room suite which includes complimentary cook-to-order breakfasts and a complimentary cocktail hour 5:30-7:30pm each evening. Which I know that as florists we all can make it to cocktail hour. Each suite has a separate living room, mini refrigerator and 2 TV's. The hotel is located across the street from Miramar Beach with a boardwalk to the beach.

Directions to the Hotel From I-10 East - Exit 56 Crestview. Turn Left onto Hwy 85 South. Turn Left on SR-20 (E. John Sims Parkway). Continue on SR-20. Turn Right on SR-293 (White Point Road) $2.50 Toll. Turn Left on HWY 98 East. Turn Right at the Circle K gas station on Poinciana Blvd. Go to stop sign and turn Right on Scenic Gulf Drive. The hotel is located on the Right.
From I-10 West - Exit 85 Defuniak Springs. Follow Hwy. 331 South (25 miles) to US 98 West. Turn Right onto Hwy 98 West. Travel approximately eleven miles. Turn Left at the Circle K gas station on Poinciana Blvd. Go to stop sign and turn Right on Scenic Gulf Drive. The hotel is located on the Right.
