Saturday JANUARY 21- FSMD WORKSHOP – 9:00 to 11:30 am
A Florida Master Designer Workshop will be offered but not required as
the first step before testing. The work will be a cost of $125.00. We must have a minimum of five
participants.

JANUARY 21- FSMD TESTING – 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Your Second step is testing. The cost of F.S.M.D. is $125.00. There
will be two parts to the test. First, the written test from the materials you
will receive after registering for the test. The second part will be the
creating floral design (announced the day of testing) in specific categories.
The Deadline for Workshop and Testing Registration will be December 21,

Fantasy Mask Competition 10:00 AM Sunday January 22,2012Oscar G. Carlstedt CompanyPensacola, Florida
In keeping with our Theme, “Fantasy”, we have titled our Mask
competition “Fantasy gone Wild”. Create a Mask either hand held with a wand or
face mask primarily of fresh flowers and greens (15% dried/silk materials are
allowed). You will be judged on Originality, Color, Use of materials,
Creativity and Mechanics. You may model the mask yourself or choose a model for
presentation. Competitors must be a FSFA Member or work at a shop that is a member.
Entry Fee $25.00 . Entries must be placed in the designated area by 10:00 am,
Sunday, January 22, 2012 for preliminary judging. Mask will also be judged for
presentation and appearance on stage at 12:00 PM. Winner will receive a cash
prize of $100**There must be 5 competitors for this competition to take place **
