Subscription to Sunlighting As part of your membership, you'll also receive a complimentary subscription to Sunlighting magazine. Dedicated to Florida florists, Sunlighting provides you with the latest information on issues concerning you and your shop. It also features new ways to increase your business and provides you with articles on other Florida shops. It's a "must read" publication for anyone in the Florida floral industry, and anyone can submit material to be published by emailing here.
You can also advertise in Sunlighting and promote your shop's specialty! It's a great way to begin networking with your fellow florists. You can submit your own ad, or the experts at Sunlighting will be happy to design an ad using your shop logo or business car.
FSFA offers accreditation to those interested in furthering their education in floral design. Individuals passing the written and hands-on design test's are accredited and receive a pin, certificate and use of addendum after their names. You must be a member of FSFA to acquire and maintain membership in this accredited organization.
Membership is open to all FSFA members, their employees, and their families. The Credit Union encourages its members to save regularly, loans money at very competitive rates, supplies financial advice and counseling and other services. The Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative and exists for the sole purpose of helping its members. Florida State is a leader in presenting innovative "hands on"educational seminars throughout the state.While attending these sessions, you can expect to see the most updated design techniques and trends in the industry. Topics range from bridal and sympathy to party and holiday designs. The goal of FSFA's Educational Committee is to be responsive to the needs of its members. So, each year, the seminars are updated, and new topics are added.
